Well, this story trumps that. By FAR.
Meet Naki’o.
When Naki’o was just a puppy, he was abandoned by a family fleeing their foreclosed home in Nebraska.
Naki’o and his siblings barely survived the really cold harsh nights that year.
Too weak and hungry to keep on going, Naki’o mistakenly stepped into an icy puddle in the basement and got his four paws stuck in freezing water.
Luckily, Naki’o surivived but his paws had to be amputated.
He had only rounded stumps as legs, making walking pretty close to impossible.
He learned to crawl on his belly, but that’s no way to live for a dog. (Just ask Faith and how she went from a crawling dog to a 2 legged walking dog)
But thanks to prosthetics, Nakio now walks, runs, plays, and even chases a ball.
Yeap, a real life bionic dog.
If you’re old enough to remember that show “The Bionic Woman” from the 70′s, there was an episode that featured a “bionic dog”.
Yeap, pretty lame compared to Naki’o.
