Sometimes the law doesn’t make sense.
Isn’t that true?
For example.. you throw not one, BUT, NUMEROUS puppies into a river for fun, and the punishment is mere $6,400. No jail time.
You starve a dog to the blink of death, and you might just get a SLAP on the wrist with a mere $1,000 fine.
But this time, the LAW came through.
Hrachya Avagyan, a 28 year old restaurant owner, was arrested for refusing to let a woman and her service dog enter his restaurant.
His charge?
Interfering with the rights of a blind or disabled person.
The woman with the service dog said she tried to explain the law to the restaurant owner, and tried to show him her certification for the dog.
In fact, the dog wore a service animal vest that had an identification card in it.
But nope. The restaurant owner still refused, and the cops made sure he spent the night in the slammer.
Ha! In your face!
